Muldoon's Tea Rooms, beloved for the cozy atmosphere and luscious desserts, has started looking a bit outdated-and the same could be said about the proprietors, Penny and Daniel Stanley. After seventeen years, their marriage has started to wear a little thin, even as their old shop bustles with the energy of the customers who seek refuge from their particular dilemmas, including a perpetually dieting housewife escaping her husband's betrayal; a starstruck, struggling artist; and a mysterious woman returning after twenty years abroad to search for a long-lost someone. Behind the chocolate cappuccinos are the stirrings of a revolution that will redefine lives, heal troubled hearts, and rock the very foundation of the humble tea house-and through it all, Penny and Daniel manage to discover what truly matters in life and in love.
Any tech tip book by Vickie Sokol Evans is a must-read! Vickie has forgotten more tips about PowerPoint than I will ever know. I now know a "hospital rat" is someone who fakes an illness!

Kids, and adults, will get a lot out of this book. He did a nice job describing the benefits and hassles of each career choice, but I felt that some of his scientific worlds were imaginary. Range was too high -needed a true baritone book. However, those people would be completely wrong in this case. This book, first published in German in 1953 and now finally available in English, proves conclusively that
- not all Germans were Nazis
- (some) Germans have a great sense of humour
- not all 20th c. Major Crisp tells it like it was- the humor and the sadness. However, there are two glaring issues with the novel that really break it for me.

Firstly, the core plot that moves the story forward revolves around a single Covenant battlecruiser falling into the wrong hands.
