Nicholas A. Kefalides was born and raised in Greece. He lived through its invasion and occupation by German and Italian armies, and survived a period in a concentration camp. He emigrated to the United States in 1947 and pursued a career in medicine and biochemistry. He retired as a professor of medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.
The articles on airlift and water dredge contradict each other. On the inside front cover, a decent facsimile of a poster for Nirvana's 1991 European tour, which they were on in late summer/early fall as Nevermind was exploding in the US. It is an easy read and full of great information. So she finds a book that has a Greek love slave trapped in it and takes it to Grace's house on her birthday. Jeff Rona's Reel World is a great to read, Un-boring view into the world of the film composer. (I probably have about half that though, most days.)
