After four brief, intensely happy years, Lewis found himself alone again, and inconsolable. To defend himself against the loss of belief in God, Lewis wrote this journal, an eloquent statement of rediscovered faith. In it he freely confesses his doubts, his rage, and his awareness of human frailty. In it he finds again the way back to life.
Marion's voice has not died. The "real life" stories give a nice dimension to the usual Pagan holiday lore that pre-teens might enjoy reading, while the info for adults give some great ideas on how to best celebrate the high day.
This book is what I'd call "Pagan stealth" written by a UU educator, it stresses the seasonal changes and connecting with the self and nature over specific Pagan theology or much mention of Gods. PBMs are different from most games by the fact that you should expect the unexpected. For anything a lot more extensive, you do need additional references. ALWAYS HANDY. buy a journal and decorate it. But this work has a huge upside. Children and adult Shrek fans will probably enjoy this book the most.. Again, most books show the palette set up in the first chapter on `Materials', and then the you're lucky to catch a glimpse of it in the background, if at all, after that.
