This book features drawings by Beth van Hoesen and is a great gift when you want to send somebody more than a card. I do like that there are pages with knobbly, prickly, and scaly sensations, rather than just the "fluffy" ones that so many seem to resort to. Through the reading of these scrolls, one begins to understand that the Qumran library presents an entire spiritual system of faith, prophecy, and revelation. I found myself searching the web for other pictures and videos of the exercises only to find that the name the author uses for exercises don't necessarily match up to what other instructors generally consider to be that exercise. I found a distraction that somehow escaped notice in this book. Even for those knowing nothing about the conflict going into reading this short book, by the end you will have a great grasp on the intricacies that have been battled back and forth for thousands of years.
