David Macdonald is Director of the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit in the Department of Zoology at Oxford University and is also the Senior Research Fellow in Wildlife Conservation at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. He is also Professor of Wildlife Conservation at the University of Oxford.
Andrew Loveridge is a career wildlife biologist and conservationist. He is a member of the IUCN/SSC Canid Specialist Group and African Lion Working Group.
The moral of the book is knowledge is power.. So there is no way to look up individual exercises -- you have to flip through the whole book to get the same misleading instructions you already got. This book is FULL of information! He talks about outdated things and new things and offers insight on so many ailments. Highly recommend.. U/W video has a good article, but U/W photo is not represented as a topic.
Also, I missed some things that could have been included:
I tried to find the status of underwater archaeology in Canada. Disappointed with the lack of information. I bought this for my 16 year old brainiac nephew who got bored with his advanced high school mathematics class. Doctor's and nurses use charcoal in ER rooms to pump overdoses out of folks stomachs. I live near a major Texas city and half of the nightly news involves attacks on people, many of whom have put themselves into a position making victimization likely. I felt that I was not good enough; not smart enoug
